SIT formed to probe CM's head injury

• SIT of Bengal Police to investigate Mamata Banerjee's forehead injury

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Bengal Police will now delve into the injury sustained by CM Mamata Banerjee at her residence. Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Kumar Goyal confirmed that the SIT, comprised of officers from various departments, will spearhead the investigation.

Addressing journalists on Thursday night after the CM's treatment, Dr. Manimoy Banerjee stated that the injury occurred due to being pushed from behind. 

Lalbazar authorities are currently conducting inquiries, with heightened security outside the Chief Minister's residence.

Sources reveal that Lalbazar's Scientific Wing and the Intelligence Department have visited Mamata Banerjee's residence in Kalighat.
